well, i finally did it. i finally partook in the d.c. cherry blossom festival! and it was joyously wrapped in sunshine and soft pastel blossoms. bobby grabbed some coffee and we rode the metro with the crowds going to the cherry blossom festivities. i love how riding the metro with bobby always feels like a treat. we strolled through the kites on the mall past the george washington memorial and walked to the jefferson in circles of cherry blossoms. it was beautiful! it was so nice to see so many people enjoying themselves in the sunshine just happy to see spring blossoms. we layed in the grass in the sunshine under a canopy of blossoms. after our kapasquatting, we walked to java green for a vegan and vegitarian lunch. to my complete shock, bobby decided to be a vegitarian!!! so we spent the day going to whole foods getting delicious veggie meals and relaxing together. i love spring!!!
