lately i feel like some kind of workaholic giving my life away to seed school. my students are the primary people i interact with all week. i even dream about them...parents to call, tasks to complete, something i forgot to do. needless to say, i cherish my weekends.
tonight a sweet surprise...staph infection outbreak in d.c. interpreted as a random day to spend at home for me. the only jimmy. it happened on the day we are supposed to go to the pumpkin patch! nuggets. my trip planned is tossed in the gutter. the upper: i get to sleep in, wake up to this glorious sunshine, and bask in the coziness of just plain old fantastical being home. ah!
