what is it about those gulley boyz?!!?!! dad gulley magically attracts animals. i have seen how he babies his own and how lucy-who is normally afraid of new people-and duma immediately run to him. its not just a normal fondness. he honestly emits an animal attractor. its like magic radar. they sense his presence and draw near.

when dad gulley stayed with us, duma found a new best friend. he followed him everywhere, even to catnaps on the sofa in the afternoon in the cuddle spot. when bobby noted his jealousy, i smiled to myself. like father, like son. i know bobby is destined for fatherly greatness because i have wonderfully seen his dadness in action and because he follows in the footsteps of a gentle teacher. thank you dad gulley. someday when we actually have kids--i know i'll really be thanking you!
