even though it has been sadly neglected this season, it still grows. how true. thank you Lord! Your goodness is overflowing.
today bobby planted a purple crape myrtle tree for bella rose. he came in all sweaty asking me to check his work.
baby bellie.
we still miss her so much. her quiet absent presence in our house a sore reminder. poor duma has no playmate and has been overly affectionate to us. we have gone to the shelter twice now to look at kittens to adopt. it is bobby's turn to pick our next pet since bella was his baby girl.
the day it happened, i kept on having the bebo song repeat in my head, "it was not her time, thats a useless line....and the God who sometimes can't be found will wrap himself around..."
we still wish we could have been there. wish we could have stopped it. wish we could have protected her. she was just a baby.
now bobby doesn't want duma to outside because he doesn't want to lose him.
"you've got to give a little, lose a little, let your poor heart break a little, thats the story of, thats the glory of love"
motion. we are in constant motion. despite being slowed down drastically this spring, we are still in motion. shadden is limb rambling everyday shocking testimony of this. his growth feels like the nature channels fast forward version of spring blooming after winter. the speed changes but the motioning hand of God is ever ladden upon us like a cartoon version of a God sized hand spinning a basketball size globe on a finger. some of the motion is so close to us it is invisibly felt like our family evolving.
