i found this in my "drafts." was going to reply to a fb tag but never could figure it out and never actually made it.
2. despite my husbands pleas (he is clean and likes his things in impeccable condition) i relish wearing his shoes and articles of clothing around our neighborhood. there can be a pile of ten pairs of my footwear at the front door, but all i see are his giant shoes. ummm. maybe its from having only brothers. maybe it's just me. he begs me not to wear his items (i am messy, clumsy, stained, and have a talent for careless haphazards). i say, "okay" which sounds like "okaaaaaaaaaay," looking away. but i secretly put on his warmest patagonia, crocs, hats, (i can't handle the temptation!) and try to put them back in the same arrangement so he doesn't know.
3. i will wear anything out the door if it is in arms reach. because of this, i am convinced my east coast neighbors think i am a weirdo. oh and because i walk daily with a baby, dog, and cat. i even have a cat call... the best is when boobie does it. :)
4. i think mermaids have the life! i'd trade my house to live on a boat and be a nomad, but for some reason i married a boy who likes to have roots and be settled. i don't think we're meant to exist apart from nature. i think the soul stirs with an insatible need to get outside, be amongst the growing things, splash in water, and let the soul breathe in the open air like the free beings we were created to be.
5. my kitty is a noble sir, a buddhist prince, the yogi-reiki-zen master: guru duma gonzales.

8. i believe love is the most powerful force. the only reality. the only truth. that every child and person can be reached, that love transforms, that nothing-nothing is outside of the grasp of love. God is love.

10. most girls have a thing for shoes and purses. i would go barefoot and carry a plastic grocery store bag if i could only wear bikinis and dresses.
11. i have a vinyl copy of the 80's hit "...ohh, heaven is a place on earth. they say heaven love comes first, we'll make heaven a place on earth..." i don't even know the title or who sings it. but everytime i play that record, i have to run around my house and belt it out like a 6 year old.
12. i have a habit of leaving around half eaten apples cores. i like to eat apples slowly. i take some bites. later i see it. its browned. i think ohh..tasty and take some more bites.
13. i could be happy to never watch tv again. but, i have to go to the library every week. i crave books and browsing literature.
14. i love the gooey texture of soft foods like mochi, bobinka, tapioca boba balls, udon noodles, & haupia.
15. i love my own company. i can spend hours with myself and never be lonely or bored. but, i don't like to be in a house alone at night. i have never been able to watch scary movies since my older brother had me watch freddie cruger when i was in second grade.
16. my husband and i get in the biggest fights when i say we're moving to africa or india. what can i say, they have my heart.
17. my favorite kitchen utensil is the spatula. i find great pleasure in scrapping every last perfect gob of kiki concoctions. oh and i secretly love cooking and baking but refuse to do so on an expected basis-egalitarian!!! but ewwie garbage taking out...is for boys. :)
18. i like to have a pure body, no alcohol, no tobacco (eeew! clean air please!), no caffeine, no preservatives, no animal products, no pesticides, nada. this energy is 100% natural! yikes. :)
19. i like to drive like a dog. barefoot, windows down, face in the wind. my first car was a red yugo. i have a love for beaters. whatever i drive, it always looks like i live in it.
20. i don't understand the east coast beach phenomenon. how do you turn nature's perfection-the ocean-into a cheesy, greasy, carnival themed park!? respect the atlantic!
21. i have to go to india, egypt, and greece.

24. 80's pop: favorite new kid-donnie. favorite make pretend name-betty. favorite make pretend scenes-dolphin trainer. first music-casette tapes of tiffany and debbie gibson. queen of all? madonna. favorite dance routine song-straight up paula & like a prayer madonna. favorite movies: dirty dancing & mary poppins. oh and my middle school bedroom walls donned a poster of luke perry.
25. my ultimate pb&j is pretty much 1/2 a jar of peanut butter, some bread, little or no jam. the peanut butter must touch every corner of the bread and be THICKLY spread!
