open season

i remember and know of some friends getting frustated by the, "when are you gonna get married?" question. since i got married relatively young, this didn't really bother me. instead i got, "your getting married?!?!!" or the look i still get, "your married??!!!" coupled with a confused expression. and i explain, yeah i'm sorta christian we kinda jump the gun on things i think its the no sex thing. i got married when i was 24, pretty young i know.

so it seems a bit odd that i keep getting the, "when are you gonna have a baby?" question. i think every week when i return to school someone a parent, staff, or student asks me if i am pregnant. i am taking this all as some inkling they have not an appearance factor...:)

now with back to back baby showers my mind's slowly understanding the revelation...whoooa, new PARENT phase. first my high school and college friends started having babies while my grad school ones were still in the "getting married/working" phase. but now, it's open season. babes are happening everywhere. there is no free zone. they are in both families and in every circle of friends. i can't escape it!!!!

one look at my refrigerator can prove this. it looks like a giant baby website disguised as a mock frig. they are everywhere!!!

i am becoming my mothers generation. we are spawning the 2000 generation....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! i don't know how this happened. i swear i'm really 15.
