one thing that comes along with marriage is mad family trips. seriously, since we have been married almost all our vacations are family trips or weddings. not that i am complaining! i love family visits and weddings. they are so special and i truly enjoy each one. one of the blessings of marriage is having more family members to get to know and love.
but, after spending 7 years in college & grad school amist friends, it is weird to move to a new area, be working, be married and not really see my girls anymore. so, this new years eve i am spending it roadtriping to new york city to spend the weekend with my girlfriend watching the ball drop in times square (something i have never done!). i think one thing God has been showing me the past two months is how much i have to be thankful for. i keep getting totally overwhelmed by God's goodness and supplication in my life. it sounds so cheesy but all i feel is truly thankful. so, just another mini thank you to Jesus for providing those little perks, visits, and girl times!
