today after church we were walking and i saw a few flakes of snow. at first i doubted myself that it could actually be snowing but later when they started rushing together it was undeniable. we finally have our first d.c. snow! as we ran to trader joes to do the weekly grocery run we came out to see an inch of fluffy covering and a boy making a snowball outside of REI. i dropped bobby off at the sports bar with a friend so he could watch the bears game and i could be spared of it. on the way home i saw many cars sweerving, some in ditches, and i even started to skid down an icy hill! winter is finally here! time to light up our fireplace and snuggle in.
