something i have learned since becoming a gulleyite is that if you welcome the gulley's you welcome "tiara." when i get an email of trip pictures from the gulley's, i expect to see them in crazy places. what i find are 90% pictures of tiara and a few pictures of the other members of the family. tiara is the princess of princesses-not only in doggie world but human world too (as if they could ever be separate spheres!).
growing up we always had pets. in hawaii, we had 2 samoyed dog's moki & fluffy, zillions of fish, a himalayan cat mai tai, a white kitty ninja, another himalayan cat shaka who ran away, a tiger salamander, and my favorite kitty fynisty. an thats just hawaii!!! in michigan we had mai tai, fynisty, and a 1/2 german shepard 1/2 chow chow dog named duke, a grey cat willy, a iguana named lenny, and a black and white cat named missy. the idea of only having one pet my entire life is extremely difficult for me to comprehend. but, in gulleyland there is only one pet: princess tiara a 1/2 shiatsu 1/2 poodle dog.
tiara does not receive a single morning meal but rather 3 hand prepared meals a day. she eats strawberries and mango's for treats. she sleeps on the female portion of the gulley bed and needs to be hand carried in the middle of the night for water. tiara doesn't really go on walks or go up stairs she is carried as any princess would.
this week we welcome ma, pa & tiara gulley to d.c. yea!
